While this watch is absolutely lovely, I have a few issues with it. However, let me start with its pros:) First off is the beauty of this watch! It really is gorgeous and something you'd want to wear for a special occasion. It is precise and seems to keep good time. It looks to be high quality from all I can see and well made. And the presentation is on point - it comes in a perfectly giftable box that even has a little drawer for the enclosed tool and booklet it comes with…something you'd expect for a high end item, even putting the watch around a little satin pillow. Beautiful and well done! Now for the cons: Number one is it advertises sapphire crystal throughout the top and side advertisement, the places where most of us look for the main information. It is not until you scroll to almost the bottom of the ad, and after a repeat of the same info for the remainder of the ad that it talks about the sapphire crystal being synthetic. I don't have a problem with it being synthetic, but I do have a problem with the misleading information and that not being up front. The second, and this is major, is that the booklet it comes with says to keep it away from any major magnetic force and they list cell phones and laptops. This is totally impractical for this day and age and severely limits the use of the watch to almost never. The booklet that comes with it gives you little instructions regarding the watch - more trouble shooting, cautions, and warranty info, but almost nothing with instructions. They want you to scan a QR code for that. I will go to a web site, yes. Scan - no. Too many issues with that of late with sites gleaning information, and frankly, I shouldn't have to. And while yes, there is a tool to adjust the links, there is no information on how to use the said tool (though I do appreciate that they provide such a thing). Also, the entirety of the watch, save the clasp, is encased in an almost rubbery plastic which you need a sharp object to remove as the little arrows will either come off instead of the casing, or they only come off up to a point. Since the watch is so well packed in its beautiful box, there is no need to do this, though a small piece of material should have been placed over the watch instead. What concerns me (besides being extremely annoying to remove) is that it was placed there to avoid oxidation and discoloration of the stainless steel band. This is something that only time will tell. Lastly, the clasp seems to stick and is a bit of a pain to get on and off - it doesn't feel like it is purposeful or like that is supposed to be to keep the watch from coming off, but more like it just isn't functioning as well as it should. While the watch really is beautiful, not being able to use it around your electronics does ruin it. I absolutely hate to give this a low rating, but that information should be front and center on a fine piece like this. It limits its use too much. Sadly, and I do mean that, but unless you have zero electronics, I would not recommend this.
