All watches with steel straps come with a watch remover tool, which allows you to adjust the length of the bracelet yourself.
Dose gold-plated fade?
The color retention time of gold-plated watches depends on various factors, including the thickness of the plating, the wearer's habits, and the maintenance conditions. Generally speaking, if properly maintained, gold-plated watches can retain their luster for over 2 years. However, if frequently exposed to sweat or chemicals, the gold plating may fade more quickly.
Here are some tips for maintaining gold-plated watches:
1.Avoid Water and Chemicals: Gold-plated watches should be kept away from water and chemicals, as they can corrode the metal and cause the gold plating to fade. It is best to remove the watch during activities that may expose it to water, such as bathing, swimming, washing dishes, or any activity that involves contact with water.
2.Prevent Friction and Scratches: Avoid rubbing the watch against hard objects or subjecting it to impacts, as this may cause the gold plating to wear off or get scratched.
3.Regular Cleaning: Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the watch to remove sweat and dust. You can use a slightly damp cloth to gently clean the strap and dial.
4.Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures, as this may affect the stability of the gold plating.
5.Proper Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a dry, dust-free place, and wrap it in a dedicated watch box or cloth bag.
Calender and time adjustment?
For dual-calendar mechanical watches that use a push-pull calendar adjustment mechanism, the week display shows in two languages, and it is normal for the languages to alternate temporarily during the week changeover. If you need to change the language, you should move the hands to around 4 a.m. and then operate.
The sequence for adjusting the calendar and time is: adjust the day/week, select the week language, adjust the date, and then adjust the time. For models without a day display, steps 1 and 2 are skipped, and for language switching, step 2 is also skipped. The steps are as follows:
Week adjustment: Pull out the crown to the first position, and rotate the crown to make the hands move clockwise; when the hands pass around "24:00", the week will alternate. Adjust the week to the day before the current week.
Week language switching: With the crown still in the first position, rotate the crown clockwise. When the hands start to move counterclockwise back to the "1 o'clock" position, the language switching begins. The weekend will temporarily display the day before, then show the current day. Continue rotating the crown until the hands move counterclockwise back to around 9 o'clock, and the language switching is complete.
Date adjustment: With the crown still in the first position, push and pull the crown once to make the date change one day at a time until you reach the day before the current date.
Keeping the crown in the first position, rotate the crown counterclockwise to adjust the hands to the exact time. Be careful to avoid the date changing at noon (12 p.m.).
