Research and Development of Material

In 2007, FIYTA independently developed outer-space reinforced titanium material and used it in watch production.
It has held the patent of this watch material up to now. Compared to general steel or titanium, outer-space reinforced titanium has higher hardness, lighter weight and other advantages.
Moreover, it provides comfortable wearing experience.

The Most Prominent Steel Art: Damascus Steel

FIYTA initiates to use Damascus steel in Chinese timepiece industry.
Damascus steel originated in ancient India and it was used to cast knives, swords and other cold weapons required during the war.
It has extremely high hardness and tenacity, remarkable anti-erosion and anti-rust performance.
In the meanwhile, the artistic pattern of Damascus steel formed in the casting process is amazingly gorgeous and it is consequently praised as “the most prominent steel art”.

Carbon Fiber Anti-Magnetic Watch

The research on carbon fiber composite materials has been a hot topic in recent years. FIYTA has developed carbon fiber composite antimagnetic watches based on advantages of carbon fiber including special texture, light weight and corrosion resistance. With combination of the demands including weight reduction of anti-magnetic watch and the increase of wearing comfortableness, it successfully develops the carbon fiber anti-magnetic watch.

Manual-Winding Multi-Function Mechanical Movement

FIYTA specially develops the first complex time-keeping mechanical movement for the Spaceflight. The movement uses manual winding method to break through the limit of zero gravity.
It designs and realizes AM/PM display function to facilitate the timely explicit display of Earth hours in chaos of day and night. Special lubrication greatly improves temperature different resistance of movement to realize the normal operation in the environment with the temperature of ± 80 degrees Celsius.
The unique structural design makes the watch's anti-magnetic index up to 48,000A/m, which is 10 times the index of the international standard.
In the meanwhile, the watch also innovatively realizes the 45-minute time-keeping.
